What is Blood & Brushes: Special Effects Showdown?
Three artists, three hours, and one spine-chilling challenge. With your horrifically beautiful host, Scarah Damsel of the Doomed, three talented artists, voted by the public, will compete LIVE in front of a panel of expert judges as they craft original horror looks that push the boundaries of terror. Only one will claim the title and a grand prize. Join us for a night of frights, creativity, and unforgettable thrills!

How do I submit/cost?
SUBMISSIONS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Judging Criteria
There will be three rounds of judging. The first round will narrow down submissions to 6-10 competitors through sponsor screenings. The second round will be public votes to narrow down to the top three. The final round will be judged live by industry professionals. The following criteria will be used for judging:

Competition & Submission Rules
-
Must be 18yrs or older to submit.
-
Original submissions only. May not use licensed characters, or recreations.

One submission per MUA. No assistant allowed.
-
MUA must provide their own supplies and model for the live competition.
-
No nudity. Models must wear a bikini at minimum.
-
Costumes allowed, but not required. Complete looks can enhance a makeup look, but judging will solely be on makeup looks.

No late submissions accepted.
