Lainie Garcia is a self-taught makeup artist based in Austin, Texas, with over 13 years of experience in editorial and on-camera work. Since entering the TV and film industry in late 2021, Lainie has worked on numerous music videos, short films, and some feature films, building a strong presence in the production world. She specializes in bold special effects makeup, focusing on blood, gore, and character transformations.
Lainie has served as a panelist representing makeup artists in the Latino film industry. She was recognized as one of the Top 5 Artists of the Year by Austin Business Women. Her work has also been featured in magazines, and interviews have been published about her journey in the industry.
Makeup is her true passion, and she knows this is what she’s meant to be doing—helping bring creative visions to life through her artistry.
Gwenyth Williamson
Gwen is a passionate Austin based makeup artist. Her artist origin story begins in elementary school, creating sfx makeup looks with mom’s makeup.
She now freelances on film and is a makeup artist at Batcity Scaregrounds. Her favorite looks to do are gore and prosthetic applications.
